Description: This is one our lake’s favorite original homes. She is the Grand Dame of the East Shore cottages. A sandy beach and huge yard are a delight to adults and children alike. The summers are glorious. Huge trees shade the home and the cool breeze off the lake makes every day heaven during the summer months. Screened porches wrap 3 sides. One of these acts as an entertainment center by housing a ping pong table. The others are large enough to host a dinner party for 12 with additional seating on the 2 wicker sofas and 8 chairs. The formal dining room seats 12. It opens into the living room with 2 seating areas making it perfect for entertaining. 5 sets of French doors open onto the porches surrounding the dining and living room.
Another family room (sleeper sofa) is connected to the main room by French doors, has a working fireplace and T. V. The kitchen does have a dishwasher. A charming screened breakfast room is just off the kitchen and seats 8. No heating or cooling in this original cottage.
Boat House with Bathroom sleeps 4 and is available at an additional fee.
