Description: This lake home used to be known as The Ralston hotel in the early 1900's, a 4-story hotel. The train would bring tourists from Indianapolis and Logansport to Culver and this would be one of their hotel spots on Lake Maxinkuckee. In the 1930s and 40s the top 2 stories were removed and the house was renovated into a lake cottage. Historical pictures of the cottage adorn the walls along with nautical decor. Relax out in the front lawn with a fabulous view of beautiful Lake Maxinkuckee. Owner's speedboat lift may be rented for longer stays. This cottage is a duplex with separate units upper and lower. A separate outside screened-in porch and summer kitchen is great for summertime barbeques.
